If you had 72 hours ago or less, there is good news. There is an emergency contraceptive called Plan B. If you are only 16 you would need someone 17 or older to go to the pharmacy for you. It doesn't require a Rx, just a certain age. Not all home tests are the same. Some will show a positive result after only 1 to 2 weeks after conception. I took a really cheap brand pregnancy test with second baby only 12 days after my husband and I conceived him and it was positive. It just depends on hcg levels in your body. Hang in there. You can go to public health to get answers and help with this. They can also give you birth control pills so you don't have to worry so much:)
