What type of personal loans are there?

I wanna know what is the best type of personal loan to get. I have just gotten out of debt and I want to establish a history of on time payments to a personal loan. I just got got a new credit card w/ a $500 limit and I have been keeping the balance below $175 per month. I am now looking to get personal loan as well. I want to know what type of personal loan can I get that will also allow me to pay it off early and save on the interest charged per month.
