My son has ADHD and I have taken Him Off Medication hes acting really strange is this normal?

hes been off it two weeks now and all he seems to do is tak talk talk repeat mimic people hes in trouble in school t the moment too but the meds are giving him headaches so I cant take a chance.....any help will be greatly appreciated ....im worried about my baby hes 12 by the way.....
