What size are the speakers in my 2001 VW Jetta?

I am having a difficult time determining the speaker size in my 2001 VW jetta without taking my door panels off. I have looked ALL over the internet, using several speaker fit guides and such. Every single site says they are a different size. Some say they're 6 1/2, 6 3/4, 5 1/2, everything is different. So I cannot rely on those. I actually bought 4 6 3/4" speakers from crutchfield because their speaker fit guide said they were the right ones for my car. Guess what? They didn't fit, and they won't give me my money back. So anyway, if anyone that has a 2001 VW jetta, 2.0 4 Cyl, knows the speaker size, please let me know. Thank you!!
