What would you do if you encountered this situation?

In Dec last year, you went for one interview and didn't get chosen for the job. Today, you just saw the same job being advertised again. If you are still keen on the job, would you write to them ask them to reconsider? On the other hand, if the new person took the job, he or she only lasted 3 months. Perhaps, there is something wrong with the job or bosses there. Maybe there was too much work because the department is very small. (2 in this post, 4 others on top). Sounds overwhelming! I thought so too. What do you think?
