What type of paper should I use when transferring ink to rock surfaces?

I'm trying to make a sign for outside the house that is on a slab of rock I bought. I made the design in illustrator. I'm going to print it backwards and apply it to the rock. What type of transfer paper would work the best for this? I thought about iron on paper but I highly doubt that would work. Is there any transfer paper for this type of job?
