Isn't keeping Christianity from laws and schools a type of persecution?

Christians are hardly persecuted. People dont want your religion shoved down thier throats. Also, you may want to reevaluate that "by christians" comment and look towards the founders for their religious affiliation. Also, much of the requirements you put on to being christians are totally subjective such that any christians can pretty much do as they please.
