Do you believe that political correctness is an ideology and should come under the church/state separation?

Political correctness is an ideology that places placation over fairness and reason. I think that it is immoral and is a philosophy that should be torn down. I am all for fairness and equality but not at the price that we are heading towards. What is church/state separation? So far the government hasn't established an official state religion that I'm aware of.
