Can anyone pleas edit part of my story? 10 points?

The sun was rising; its beautiful amber glow shined through the cracks of village windows. This was the symbol of day and the alarm of dawn. For many villagers of Oikia it was time to wake up and feed their rousing families. The small village was starting to wake up. Isaura felt the sun’s rays on her eyes and quickly ran outside to catch the early morning fish. She fearlessly jumped into the cold sparkling water and began to search for salmon. The small pink fish were the easiest to find in shallow waters. At her first chance Isaura caught 3 fish. She jumped out of the water and started to prepare the meal for her family. As her day unfolded Isaura did what she loved to do: she went out to the shore and looked at the glistering horizon. Many humans wondered what was on the other side while Isaura dreamed she would one day discover what it was. Zeus, god of all gods, and human beings that lived before the age of Oikia, would not allow the people more land. He did not want humans getting more land because he thought that they would just trash it, leaving it un-cherished, un-fruitful. The humans got very angry with Zeus since their population was increasing and space was beginning to dwindle. With that the villadge leader, Panayoti, ordered a town meeting. Isaura new this wasn’t a good idea and immediately heard the t ‘’boom’’ from Panayoti’s calling horn. "BOOM BOOM" The shrill alarm continued until every last human was in the stone auditorium. Panayoti then rose in front of the huge crowd and began to speak.
